Popsicle Studio Lamps

We recently customised these cute lamps for Pop Sicle Studios, who will be gifting them to their clients for the end of year.

It was such a beautiful surprise to see how art can transform an everyday object-how a simple lamp can suddenly come alive, tell a story, and become a true piece of art.

I loved working on this transformation, turning light into something magical, almost like stepping into a fairytale-where colours, details, and imagination meet.

So grateful for the trust and for the opportunity to bring a little wonder and warmth into these end-of-year gifts ✨🕯️

Made with love

Two bespoke artworks, each 80 × 80 cm, created especially for a client who wanted something powerful yet delicate.

I worked on this red roses pattern and its negative version, playing with contrast, balance, and emotion.

Roses have always fascinated me – symbols of strength, love, resilience, and passion.

In red, they speak even louder… bold, timeless, and full of character. The positive and negative echo each other, like two sides of the same story – presence and absence, intensity and calm.

This is what I love about custom work:

creating pieces that carry meaning, not just colour.

Art that belongs to someone, created just for them. ❤️

The Mauritian Collection

A recent client entrusted me with three customised paintings (50 × 100 cm each), each celebrating a different iconic landscape of Mauritius 🇲🇺✨

• Tourelle du Tamarin overlooking the salt pans – a tribute to our island’s quiet history and coastal beauty

• Le Morne Brabant, powerful and timeless, standing as a symbol of strength, freedom, and resilience

• Les Trois Mamelles, rising gracefully, anchoring the land with calm and balance.

Every piece was thoughtfully composed to flow together as a series, yet each tells its own story.

Custom artworks like these allow me to translate personal connections, memories, and love for Mauritius into colour and form 🤍

Thank you for the trust – creating meaningful art for your spaces is always a privilege.

Dakri Cartons

Recently had the pleasure of working on a customised illustrative artwork for Dakri Cartons, translating their industry and workplace into a visual story.

Through colours, shapes, and details, I wanted to reflect the heart of their operations – the movement, the structure, the environment, and the people behind it. This piece brings together industrial elements and organic forms, showing how creativity can live beautifully within manufacturing spaces.

Illustrative art has the power to humanise industries, turning everyday workplaces into narratives of growth, craftsmanship, and identity. Grateful for the trust and the opportunity to bring their universe to life through art 🎨

Cannonier Beachcomber

This week, I had the honour of creating a unique, customised piece to celebrate the retirement of Mr. Désiré Malabar, Executive Assistant Director, after 26 years of dedicated service at Canonnier Beachcomber.

The artwork brings together the soul of Canonnier—its timeless canons and ancient forts, the serene duck pond, the mangrove trees, the graceful boats, and the iconic white parasols by the sea. In the distance, Coin de Mire rises with majesty, while the warm glow of the sunset ties it all together in harmony. Each element was carefully chosen to reflect the beauty and memories of this extraordinary place.

This token of gratitude was offered by Mr. Lothar Gross, GM, together with the wonderful staff, as a heartfelt tribute to Mr. Désiré’s remarkable journey.

It fills me with joy to know that in life’s milestone celebrations, one of my paintings can carry the memory and spirit of the moment. Once again, art proves its power to transcend time, preserve memories, and mark important events.

A family heritage

This week, I had the privilege of creating a customised painting for my dear client, Anoushka, who came to visit her family in Mauritius before flying back to England where she now lives. 🌸

She wanted something special—an artwork that would keep Mauritius and her childhood memories close to her heart. As she shared her souvenirs with me, I was instantly reminded of my Lepok Longtan collection, where memories and stories become colours on canvas.

From her family’s hard work in the caro canne fields 🌿☀️, to her father’s days as a teacher 📚, to the bittersweet moments of leaving home—standing on the airport roof, watching planes disappear into the horizon ✈️—her stories painted themselves through me.

This piece became more than art; it became a bridge between past and present, between Mauritius and England, between generations of love and sacrifice. 💛

When Anoushka saw her painting, she was so emotional—and in that moment, I was reminded why I love doing what I do. Art has the power to connect people, cultures, and time itself… despite distance, despite years.

A Mauritian souvenir

Today, I had the joy of delivering another set of customised paintings—this time flying all the way to the Netherlands. 🇳🇱✨

A beautiful couple chose to carry with them not just artworks, but memories of Mauritius—moments of family, joy, and nostalgia, now captured forever on canvas. 🌿💛

For this collection, I created a new version of “Fri Exotic” from my last series (the first one having already found its home) and added a brand-new piece celebrating the iconic Dodo 🕊️. Together, these two works form a vibrant triptych with the Mauritius Parakeet from my recent collection—three symbols of heritage, nature, and the timeless beauty of our island. 🌺🌈

It fills my heart with happiness to know that my art will travel across oceans, carrying the colours, stories, and soul of Mauritius into another home. ✨ Forever thankful to everyone choosing my art 🫶🏽

Nepal Cultural Heritage

I’m excited to reveal my latest painting, a custom order inspired by the stunning beauty of Nepal! It has been a true pleasure to illustrate this magnificent country for my dear client. This piece of artwork took me several weeks to complete, encompassing thorough research, conceptualization, and design. Most importantly, it involved understanding the unique story and vision of my client. Now, this painting is ready to be shipped and will soon adorn his new home, adding a touch of Nepal’s charm and splendor. destination, and where every moment is an opportunity to make your mark on the canvas of existence. The only limit is the extent of your imagination.

Dodo in Tropical Forest

It is a true delight to collaborate once more with our esteemed client, who has chosen to commission paintings from Sapna Gallery for the second time. Each piece we create for them is a testament to our shared vision and passion for art. In the heart of a lush tropical forest, the dodo roamed freely, a symbol of the island’s unique charm and mystery. Amidst the vibrant foliage and the symphony of exotic birds, the dodo’s plump, feathered form moved gracefully. This enigmatic creature, with its gentle eyes and curious beak, embodied the spirit of a paradise untouched by time. Here, in this verdant sanctuary, the dodo thrived, its presence a testament to the beauty and fragility of nature’s wonders.
